Brief Bio

Dr. Hui Shen is currently an assistant professor at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Kingsville, USA. She has also served as a Post-doctoral research Fellow at Purdue University. She received her Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering (Architectural Engineering) from the Purdue University. Her research at the Purdue University includes: building energy, daylighting simulation, dynamic façades, shading control, and hvac modeling. She has been working in the field of energy-efficient buildings, sustainability and human comfort for more than seven years. She has published more than ten papers in reputed international journals.
