LightTools

LightTools is an optical simulation tool, which can simulate any illumination design efficiently. It has many libraries to create reflectors, lenses, optical fibers, light pipes, light sources, etc. Any 3D design can be easily created in the LightTools. SolidWorks, which is well known in 3D modeling, has been integrated with LighTools to transfer the 3D model from SolidWorks to LightTools and vice versa. External link

To implement the daylighting systems or any other illumination system, efficient software is needed to see the real results. For that purpose, LightTools is preferred. I am using LightTools in my research, which is related to daylighting systems, illumination systems, and hybrid systems.
