Brief Bio
Kacem Gairaa is a senior researcher at the Center for the Development of Renewable Energies (CDER), Algeria, with extensive research experience in solar energy. His main research interests include radiometry and solar radiation measurements, solar energy modeling and forecasting, solar energy conversion, solar site assessment, and the application of AI techniques to solar energy. He has authored and co-authored several scientific papers published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. He also serves as Head of Research Division, coordinating research activities and contributing to the advancement of renewable energy technologies, particularly in arid and Saharan environments.
