Adel Juaidi

My name is Adel, and I hold a Ph.D. in Engineering with a specialization in Renewable Energy and Sustainability, which I earned from the University of Almería, Spain, in 2017. During my doctoral studies, I conducted research at the Plataforma Solar de Almería (PSA), part of the Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicas (CIEMAT)—the largest European center for research, development, and testing of concentrating solar technologies. At PSA, I worked in the Solar Reflectors Durability Laboratories on the research topic: "Degradation of Solar Concentrator Power Plants Due to Radiation Under Accelerated Conditions." I also hold a Master’s degree in Water and Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I specialize in the broad field of thermal sciences, with core expertise in energy systems, renewable energy for development and sustainability, energy conversion and management, solar energy, energy-efficient buildings, green buildings, and sustainable building environments. I have authored and co-authored over 77 publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conference proceedings. Additionally, I serve as a reviewer for several international journals and am an active member of scientific committees for various academic conferences.
