Dr. Lim Yaik Wah is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He received his PhD in Architecture in 2011 and specialises in sustainable architecture, building information modelling (BIM), building performance simulation, and daylighting. He has experience in leading and conducting several interdisciplinary research and consultancy projects. He has authored over 100 publications in leading journals and conferences within these fields. In 2019, he published his book titled Tropical Daylighting for Working Environment. He is also a registered professional architect with the Board of Architects Malaysia and a certified green building consultant.
