Brief Bio

Dr. Irfan Ullah is an Associate Professor/Director Projects in Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, Pakistan. He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Daylighting (Scopus indexed, HEC-Y category). He was a post-doctoral fellow in the Graduate Institute of Color and Illumination Technology at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taipei, Taiwan. He was a visiting research scholar in the Competence Center Envelopes and Solar Energy at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Hochschule Luzern), Horw, Switzerland. His research focus is applied solar energy and designing/simulation of solar concentrators. He is particularly interested in teaching advanced solar concentrators and photovoltaic for renewable energy systems. He is actively involved in various research projects in the area of Solar Energy. He has provided high-level research in a variety of institutes in the area of renewable energy. He has published more than 45 research articles in the international journals/conferences. He is guest-editor/review-editor of several international journals.
